When and how do I check my chain for wear?

In this short video clip I demonstrate how to use a chain checker and how easy it is to check your chain for wear and tear.

If your chain gets too worn:

1. it is dangerous;
2. you wear out your cassette and chainrings;
3. and then you have to replace both chain and cassette, increasing cost.

Changing your chain at the right time (not too early, not too late), will save the cost of replacing your cassette and chainrings.
